Ashna Gadhia

After graduating from Aston University with a first class degree in Economics, Ashna is currently working within the Treasury department at Lloyds Banking Group. Ashna is an ICAEW charted accountancy qualification and is keen to use her mathematical skills to good use as when organising the budget for social events. Ashna is truly inspired by the selfless acts from the community, particularly during the height of the pandemic and really enjoyed giving back to the community during her time in the committee.
Outside of work, Ashna loves trying new restaurants and tasting new dishes so if you have any good restaurant and / or cocktail bar recommendations, please send them her way! She has recently got into baking and has finally has perfected her white chocolate and biscoff cookie recipe!
Ashna also loves animals and has a dog of her own called Coco-Bear. Coco-Bear loved helping the committee prepare plates for the 2022 kids garba. Ashna can’t wait to organise the first dog friendly YLS event in the future!
